Catherine Austin Fitts offers a unique perspective on the global financial system and on the political economy.

Catherine is the President of Solari, Inc. and Managing Member of Solari Investment Advisory Services, LLC. Her background includes serving as Managing Director and member of the Board of Wall Street investment bank Dillon Read & Co. Inc., Assistant Secretary of Housing - Federal Housing Commissioner in the first Bush Administration and President of Hamilton Securities Group, a Washington, DC investment bank.

In an astonishing story of greed and loathing inside the Wall Street-Washington axis, Catherine led Hamilton Securities through ten years of litigation with the US government, which halted Hamilton’s efforts to bring web-based transparency to government expenditures and financing in communities and to promote locally-controlled private equity investment. Catherine networked with hundreds of researchers, reporters, activists and concerned citizens around the world to gain an understanding of the economic and financial aspects of growing corruption in government, business and society. After Hamilton Securities won its lead case in the US Court of Claims, Catherine published a web-book, Dillon Read & the Aristocracy of StockProfits (www.dunwalke.com) that tells the tale.

She now serves on the board of the Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee (www.gata.org), a non-profit civil rights and educational organization that advocates and undertakes litigation to stem illegal collusion in the control of prices and supply of gold and trading in related financial securities.

Catherine publishes a column “Mapping the Real Deal” in Scoop Media (www.scoop.co.nz) in New Zealand.
